How Calvera Solutions, s.r.o. handles the personal data you send through the contact form, and how visits are measured without cookies or third-party trackers.
This site is run by Calvera Solutions, s.r.o. It sets no cookies and sends nothing to a third-party tracker. Personal data comes up in two places: what you type into the contact form, and the anonymised measurement of visits. This page explains both.
Four fields travel with your message: your name, your email address, your company (optional) and the message itself. They arrive as an email in a mailbox belonging to Calvera Solutions, s.r.o., and a copy goes to the address you entered, so you keep a record of what you sent. Nothing is written to a database and no account is created.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. If your message is not about working together, the basis is Article 6(1)(f), the legitimate interest in replying to someone who wrote.
Enquiries that lead nowhere are deleted 12 months after the last message. If we end up working together, the correspondence stays for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the periods accounting and tax law require.
The form also contains a hidden field that real visitors never see. If it comes back filled in, the submission is treated as a bot and discarded: nothing is sent and nothing is kept.
Like every web server, the hosting keeps access logs containing the IP address, the time of the request, the page requested and the browser identification string. They exist to keep the site running and to deal with abuse, which is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f), and the hosting provider retains them for the period set by its own operation.
Only the hosting provider, Websupport, s. r. o., registered in the Slovak Republic, which runs the servers and the mail service and therefore acts as a processor. There are no other recipients, no transfers outside the European Union, and no profiling or automated decision-making.
Everything the page needs, fonts included, is served from this domain. Nothing is loaded from a third-party network, so opening the site does not reveal your address to anyone else.
None. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. That is also why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Visits are measured with Matomo, analytics software installed on this domain. Nothing goes to an external analytics company: the software, the database and the reports all sit on the same hosting as the site.
It runs without cookies. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, so it points at a network rather than at you, and that shortened address is also what is used to derive an approximate location. Do Not Track is respected: if your browser sends that signal, the visit is not recorded at all. Raw visit data is deleted after 12 months.
What is measured: which pages are opened and in what order, which site you arrived from, and coarse technical details such as country, device type and browser. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, the legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the site are useful and which are not.
If you would rather not be counted:
Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR give you the right of access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Write through the contact form to exercise any of them. No email address is published on this site by design, so the form is the route for data protection requests as well. You will have an answer without undue delay, within one month at the latest.
If you believe your data is handled unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

If the way the site works changes, for example if analytics is added, this page changes with it. The version published here, with the effective date at the top, is always the current one.
